Its position between Queensland’s mainland and Great Barrier Reef couldn’t be more perfect, and perhaps is why it’s favoured by those in need of a short stay and those wanting to disappear for a while.

 

 


 

1. GREAT BARRIER REEF AIRPORT – HAMILTON ISLAND

On arrival at Hamilton Island airport by commercial airline, head down to the baggage claim area where you will find a Cruise Whitsundays check-in counter. Their friendly staff will direct you from there with regard to baggage and ferry departure times. Transfers across to Daydream aboard your catamaran cruise vessel takes approximately 30 minutes.

For departing passengers from Hamilton Island, your Cruise Whitsunday vessel arrives just 100 metres from the airline check-in desks. Staff will advise on baggage collection. Once checked in just head to the departure lounge for some refreshments and relaxation.



2. DAYDREAM ISLAND

On arrival at Daydream Island, you will be welcomed by our friendly staff who will tell you all you need to know about your stay. Don’t worry about your baggage – it will be taken straight to your room!

For departing passengers from Daydream Island, please confirm your ferry departure time with our Reception desk. Once confirmed, make sure you have your bags packed in your rooms at least one hour before departure time for collection by our porters who will transport them directly to your Cruise Whitsunday vessel. Then relax in our departure lounge and watch your ferry arrive at the north end pontoon.

1. PORT OF AIRLIE – AIRLIE BEACH

You’ll find a Cruise Whitsundays check-in counter on arrival at Port of Airlie and once you have your boarding pass, relax at the Café whilst you wait for your Cruise Whitsunday vessel to take you across to Daydream – approximately 30 mins.

All departing passengers should make themselves known to the Whitsunday 2 Everywhere coach drivers at Port of Airlie for transfers to Proserpine airport.



2. DAYDREAM ISLAND

On arrival at Daydream Island, you will be welcomed by our friendly staff who will tell you all you need to know about your stay. Don’t worry about your baggage – it will be taken straight to your room!

For departing passengers from Daydream Island, please confirm your ferry departure time with our Reception desk. Once confirmed, make sure you have your bags packed in your rooms at least one hour before departure time for collection by our porters who will transport them directly to your Cruise Whitsunday vessel. 1. WHITSUNDAY COAST AIRPORT – PROSERPINE

On arrival at Proserpine airport, look out for a representative from Whitsunday 2 Everywhere who will arrange your transfers to Port of Airlie, an enjoyable 30 minute bus trip.

You’ll find a Cruise Whitsundays check-in counter on arrival at Port of Airlie and once you have your boarding pass, relax at the Café whilst you wait for your Cruise Whitsunday vessel to take you across to Daydream – approximately 30 mins.

By Air


Fly direct to Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) on Hamilton Island and enjoy a 30 minute catamaran cruise.

 Helicopter transfers are also available during daytime hours from both Proserpine and Hamilton Island.

By Road


The Whitsundays can be accessed via the Bruce Highway, which spans the entire East Coast of Queensland. Driving north from Brisbane will take approximately 12 hours and 8 hours driving south from Cairns.

There is also secure parking available beside the Cruise Whitsundays ferry terminal, as well as additional parking within the Port of Airlie precinct.

 

 

By Air


Or, arrive at Whitsundays Coast Airport in mainland Proserpine and travel by bus to Airlie Beach for a 30 minute ferry connection.
