The Living Reef on Daydream Island Resort and Spa is home to one of the world’s largest man-made living coral reef lagoons and students have the opportunity to get up close and personal with resident stingrays, sharks and barramundi under the watchful guidance of our highly qualified Marine Biologist team.

The Living Reef has more than 80 species of marine fish and 50 species of coral that call this microcosm of the Great Barrier Reef, home. Stingrays Pikelet and Pancake along with Bruce the sicklefin lemon shark are just some of the exciting marine species on show at Daydream’s Living Reef.

This incredible educational package has been specifically designed to provide teachers and students a unique, safe and engaging environment to learn all about the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. It includes five educational modules, fun activities and a full day Reef Trip on board giant catamaran “Seaflight” to the heart of the Great Barrier Reef with Cruise Whitsundays, where student groups can enjoy snorkelling, glass bottom boats, semi-submarine, diving and lots more.  Food and beverage is provided during the day.
