Marine Biologist for a Day

Ever dreamed of being a marine biologist? Now you can give it a try. Join our passionate team who live on the island and get an insight into a day in their life.

Put yourself in a marine biologist’s shoes (and hat, and special lanyard), and experience a day in their life. Assist our biologist in a guided fish feed, splash around with the stingrays, and help take care of the animals who call the Living Reef their home. This all-day tour includes a visit to the education centre, underwater observatory, and a guided snorkel in the Living Reef. For aspiring marine biologists and humble nature lovers alike.

Daily 8.45am

$220pp (for adults and children 15+)

Book at the Activities Desk. Bookings are essential as places are limited. Set aside approximately 6 hours for this activity. Tours leave on time, so it is important to get to the meeting point before it begins. As much of the tour is under cover, we will go ahead in wet weather. Adults formally studying relevant Marine Biology modalities are also permitted.
