Getting Here

Daydream Island is conveniently accessible via the Whitsundays Coast Airport (PPP) and Hamilton Island (HTI), with seamless transfers available to bring you straight to our tropical paradise. Shuttle transfers from Whitsundays Coast Airport take approximately 45 minutes to the Port of Airlie, followed by a scenic 30-minute ferry ride. Alternatively, if you’re arriving at Hamilton Island, ferry transfers from the Great Barrier Reef Airport or Hamilton Island Marina also take just 30 minutes.

Drone Policy

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly remind you that recreational drone use is not permitted on Daydream Island Resort property, its transportation services, or during resort tours and activities. This policy helps ensure everyone’s privacy and safety, particularly given the high air traffic in the Whitsundays, with multiple heli-pads and two nearby airports at Proserpine and Hamilton Island.
