How to Get to Daydream island Resort
If flying into Whitsundays Coast Airport (PPP Airport), shuttle transfers are available to the Port of Airlie (approximately 45 minutes), followed by a ferry transfer to Daydream Island (approximately 30 minutes).
If travelling from Hamilton Island, ferry transfers are available from Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI Airport) and Hamilton Island Marina (approximately 60 minutes).
Ferry transfer bookings are essential and must be pre-booked in advance. Please note that the ferry schedule is subject to availability and transfers may change without notice.

The Whitsundays are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island Airport) on Hamilton Island and Whitsundays Coast Airport (Proserpine Airport) on the mainland at Proserpine.
BY LAND AND SEA
The ferry ride to Daydream Island is a joy in itself. The schedule's timed to coincide with most arriving and departing flights, so it won't be long until you're enjoying panoramic views of the Whitsunday Island aboard modern vessels.
DAYDREAM ISLAND MARINA BERTHING
Guests with private watercraft of any kind cannot enter Daydream Island via Lovers Cove or any other location on the Island. Access to the Island is not permitted via the public mooring at Lovers/Sunlovers Cove. Entry to the Island is only permitted via the Island's Marina.
