Flights from Brisbane to Daydream Island

You have options when it comes to flying from Brisbane to Daydream Island.

 

Hamilton Island will be your primary gateway to our resort, and it is well serviced by major airlines such as Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar. You can easily find budget-friendly options that fit perfectly into your holiday itinerary. From there, the ferry service operated by Cruise Whitsundays connects Hamilton Island to Daydream Island. The service is reliable and comfortable, allowing you to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Whitsunday Islands as you travel. 

Another option is Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast Airport, which will involve transporting you to the wonderful Airlie Beach and then catching a ferry to the island. With Virgin, Jetstar and Qantas also servicing the aiport you are spoilt for choice. From the airport there are a number of transit options to the Port of Airlie where you will catch your Cruise Whitsundays ferry service directly to the island.

Planning flight times is hard, especially when travelling with family. To plan your trip efficiently, here are the following estimates flight times for the options above.

Brisbane to Hamilton Island Airport: 1 hour and 40 minutes 

Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast Airport: 2 hours

Exploring Daydream Island

Daydream Island is a paradise for adventure seekers, families, relaxationists or newlyweds. Wheather you're a thrill-seeker or prefer a leisurely paddle, there's something for everyone.

Renowned for its stunning coral reefs, the island is ideal for experienced and beginners looking to snorkel. Wheather you choose to snorkel in the intimate Lovers Cove, or take a dip with our marine biologists in our Living Reef. The vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters offer an unforgettable underwater experience. To keep the little ones busy, we have the Cockatoo Kids Club, perfect for a morning or afternoon of adventure, education, fun and exploration. 

Exploring Daydream Island on foot is also popular, our rainforest walk takes you on an adventure to the other side of the island passing by an incredible viewpoint of the surrounding islands.
